The South-West Zonal ex-Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Alhaji Najeemdeen Tokunbo Korodo, is dead.
Platforms Africa reports that Korodo’s niece, Azeezat Adebari Olaoluwa, a journalist with British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) News Africa, announced this on her Facebook page.

She extolled the virtues of the late labour whom she described as a “kind-hearted uncle.”

Popularly called Korodo, the late chairman of the Petroleum Tankers Drivers (PTD) died on Wednesday, according to Asiwaju Kunle Bankole, another relative, in a post on Facebook.
“Alhaji Nojeemdeen Tokunbo Korodo, We love you but God love you most. May almighty Allah forgive your shortcomings and grant you Aljana fridauz, Amin.
“My condolences to the entire Korodo’s family. Dear sister, Azeezat Adebari Olaoluwa Eku aseyinde,” he wrote.
